Humanitarian Activities
STCH Volunteers render yeomen and noble services for the needy families, who come from Kerala for treatment. By contacting hospital authority, we avail for them relaxation in the expenses of treatment, support the advanced treatment, donate blood, arrange food and accommodation for the bystanders of patients and provide financial aids for those who are in constraints. In the cases of death of patient we facilitate for the funeral and sending of dead bodies at native land. Under various areas we conduct medical camps, blood group test camps, blood donation brigades etc.
Funeral of Mayith
STCH could arrange the facility for the funeral of dead bodies, We become the able to comfort the bereaved families by facilitating for prepare funeral and even for burial at the city itself. We also provide means of funeral dead bodies corresponding to the ritual of castes and creed.
Ambulance Services
Attracted to the social activities of STCH Mr.Byrathi Basavaraj MLA has sponsored an ambulance with ozygen cylinder and freezer to the organisation. Many of the poor people find this free service highly useful.
Educational Activities
STCH in collaboration with various Muslim management nursing colleges help the meritorious and deserving Muslim girls for their nursing education. There also supported with special scholarships also. About 25 students who have benefited from this scheme are working at various hospitals in India and aboroad. We have taken step to motivate those students who score high marks in SSLC and PLUS TWO examinations and to issue scholarships for the needy and brilliant students.
Relief Activities
Every year we involve in the releif activities spending lakhs of rupees at different parts of the city of Bangalore and outside under Shihab Thangal Relief Cell. We are attempting to expand the activities of Shihab Thangal Relief cell formed by Kerala State Muslim League. We expect boundless help and support of philanthropists to this regard.
Ifthar Meet
Each ifthar meed conducted by STCH turns up a platform of the communal harmony, which is the identity and heritage of Kerala Muslims. Ifthar meet conducted by central committee and various area committee could draw attention with participation of mass public and presence of dignitaries. It shares a spirit of human love and communnal harmony.
